Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality publishes technical brief on ambulatory safety

A recently released AHRQ-funded technical brief explores fundamental questions about patient safety practices in ambulatory care, including which evidence-based practices used in hospitals may be applicable to the ambulatory care setting, as well as identifying promising safety initiatives that have not been broadly implemented or studied beyond a single ambulatory care center.
