Certification Review Courses
Share |

The National Patient Safety Foundation offers review courses to experienced patient safety professionals who plan to take the Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS) examination. This course can help participants prepare for the exam by reviewing domain content areas and test-taking strategies. *

Individuals from across the health care spectrum may sit for the CPPS exam providing they possess a baseline combination of education, experience and a commitment to improving the practice of patient care. Candidates must meet the eligibility requirements to sit for the exam. Those who receive a passing score on the exam earn the CPPS certification.

Participation in this course will provide attendees with the opportunity to:

  • Review in depth the five patient safety domains, following the exam content outline
  • Discuss patient safety scenario examples similar to actual exam questions
  • Assess their own level of preparedness for the exam and address additional areas for self-study

Review Course Schedule*

NPSF provides a variety of course formats to meet the needs of our diverse patient safety professionals. Please see the schedule below for flexible live, webinar, and online options.

* While there may be other means of preparing for the exam, this is the only review course offered and overseen by National Patient Safety Foundation. This course is not required to pass the certification exam. Participation in any of these courses does not guarantee a passing score on the certification exam. This schedule is subject to change. Please check back here for up-to-date information.
