This study in the
Journal of the American Board of Family Medicine discusses how electronic intervention strategies to improve communication of abnormal test results to physicians may need some additional tweaks to ensure their effectiveness.

Clinical Learning Environments Report Released
The Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) has released the first in a series of issue briefs relating to the recently released Clinical Learning Environment Review (CLER) National Report of Findings 2016. The first issue brief finds that there is much opportunity for improvement around education in patient safety in clinical sites that train resident physicians and fellows.
