“What does patient safety mean to you?”

This month we’re celebrating you and all you do to move the patient safety field forward!

Share with us what patient safety means to you for a chance to be featured in our Patient Safety Blog and on NPSF social media pages during our ASPPS Member Appreciation Month.

Examples:

  • “I am a nurse who always tries to go the extra mile to address health literacy among my patients because I believe that patient safety begins with understanding...”
  • “Patient safety means changing the blame culture…”
  • “I’m a patient advocate. I volunteer to go to doctor’s visits because I think patients are safer when they don’t go to medical appointments alone…”

NPSF will choose the top stories to share with the community in August. Thanks for sharing!

Here’s how to enter

1. Enter your personal information

2. Submit your response in text box below

You need to do these two things in order to be considered. NPSF will review all submissions and choose winners to be featured throughout the month of August. You will be contacted if your story is chosen. The contest runs from August 1-August 31, 2016.

You must be an ASPPS member to be considered. If you aren't already, join now and take advantage of these great promotions for ASPPS members throughout the month.
