2015 Pre-Congress Day Recap

Wednesday, April 29, 2015

Pre-Congress Day 2015 was jam packed with all-day sessions on pediatric patient safety, patient and family engagement through shared decision making and patient and family advisory councils, safety science: root cause analysis, safer health care through transparency, and a certified professional in patient safety review course.

Thanks to our wonderful faculty!

We also opened the Learning & Simulation Center for the Welcome Reception!

This year, NPSF will be giving an award for Best Poster. A panel of judges will make the final determination, but attendees can vote on their favorites via a feature in the mobile app.

The Simulation program features a series of three live simulations beginning in the OBGYN office. Sessions focus on communication, shared decision making, handoffs, speaking up, effective communication and teamwork, communication and apology.

Be sure to visit the NPSF Booth, #401 in the Learning & Simulation Center for your chance to win something during the Congress.
