The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) has merged AHRQ Patient Safety Network (PSNet) and AHRQ WebM&M (Morbidity and Mortality Rounds on the Web) to provide a one-stop shop for patient safety news, research, and expert commentary.
March 3, 2016 -- PSNet now combines all the features of and content from both the PSNet and WebM&M sites, including PSNet weekly updates, WebM&M Cases and Commentaries, Perspectives on Safety, Patient Safety Primers, and more.
The new site is easy to browse on your tablet or mobile device. PSNet provides powerful searching and browsing capability, and users can choose to customize the site around their interests. To learn more, visit psnet.ahrq.gov.
PSNet publishes weekly updates on patient safety literature, news, tools, and meetings. Perspectives on Safety and WebM&M Cases and Commentaries are published monthly.
WebM&M Cases feature expert analysis of medical errors reported anonymously by our readers, and continuing education credit is available for Spotlight Cases. The Perspectives on Safety section features expert viewpoints (including podcasts) on current themes in patient safety.
Previous and new WebM&M content can be accessed directly through the WebM&M Cases and Perspectives navigation links from the main menu on the PSNet home page. To read WebM&M cases, visit psnet.ahrq.gov/webmm.
