June 24, 2015 — The U.S. Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) announced that any inspections of inpatient health care facilities should include an assessment of hazards such as musculoskeletal injuries, bloodborne pathogens, workplace violence, tuberculosis, and slips, trips, and falls.
