Patient Safety Awareness Week
March 6-12, 2011

Patient Safety Awareness Week (PSAW) is a national education and awareness-building campaign for improving patient safety. Hospitals and healthcare organizations across the country are encouraged to plan events to promote patient safety within their own organizations. Educational activities are centered on educating patients on how to become involved in their own health care, as well as working with hospitals to build partnerships with their patient community.

PSAW toolkits are one of the exciting benefits of a membership in NPSF’s Stand Up for Patient Safety and Ambulatory Stand Up for Patient Safety Program. To celebrate PSAW, all members in good standing receive a FREE TOOLKIT and access to supplemental materials and resources contributed exclusively to NPSF in honor of Patient Safety Awareness Week.
