This course covers the full range of topics health IT professionals need to be aware of, providing the leadership skills needed to improve quality, safety, and efficiency through health information technology. Participants learn to design an effective health IT strategy and gain the tools to implement this strategy effectively. The four modules in this program focus on information technology strategy and governance, electronic health records, maximizing quality and safety gains from EHRs, and clinical informatics strategy and innovation.
