Ambien Cited as Fall Risk for Inpatients

ASPPS member Tim Morgenthaler, MD, chief patient safety officer at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, is among the authors of a study that found the rate of falls was four times higher among inpatients who took Ambien than among other patients.
