Internship
Position Summary
Interns at NPSF support key programs of the Foundation including but not limited to our Stand Up for Patient Safety Program (hospital-based and ambulatory), annual Congress, Lucian Leape Institute, Research Grant Program, and American Society of Professionals in Patient Safety (ASPPS) Program. Various activities of our Marketing, Web/Communications, and Administrative teams will also be supported. This is a paid position.
Essential Functions
- Provide program and administrative support as needed, e.g., research, information gathering, preparation of materials, project tracking, data entry, other duties as assigned
- Support the work of team members to achieve specific program goals
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Must be highly organized and detail oriented
- Must possess excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Must be resourceful and able to multi task
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Knowledge of Salesforce.com helpful
- Experience in an office environment a plus
